Account deletion
You can delete your account in Kvizić (developer: toleapps) in the app or by email. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
In the app
- Open the game and, on the home screen, tap the settings icon.
- On the Settings screen, open About.
- Under Data, at the bottom of the screen, tap Delete account and confirm with Delete.
The account is deleted at once, on every device, and on the device you deleted it from the game carries on as a new guest. This deletes a guest and a player linked to Google Play Games alike.
If you sign in with Play Games using a profile already linked to another player, the guest you had been playing as stays a separate player and is not deleted with that account. If you do not want it kept, delete it in the app before signing in; either way it is deleted by itself once no device has used it for 90 days.
By email, without the app
Email application.eili@gmail.com with the subject "Account deletion — Kvizić" and your account ID. You find the account ID in the game on the About screen, under Data, where one tap copies it. We will delete the account within 30 days at most and tell you when it is done.
If you no longer have the app and did not keep the ID, we may not be able to find the account. If it was linked to Play Games, reinstall the game, sign in with the same profile and delete it in the app. A guest is not kept forever anyway: once no device has used it for 90 days, the server deletes it.
What is deleted
- the player, its identifier, name and animal;
- the link to Google Play Games;
- every session, so you are signed out on every device;
- statistics: games played and won, answers by topic, experience and level, solo results;
- your results in every game played;
- the questions you have seen.
What is kept
- Games you played remain, without you: when they were played, how many questions and players they had, and the other players' results as they were. No record links a game to you any more.
- Question reports you sent remain, without their reporter.
- Totals of how many players got a question right, which never say who answered what.
- Analytics: events already sent to PostHog stay tied to the device's random identifier and, if you signed in with Play Games, to the player's identifier, which after deletion no longer means anyone in our database. They are deleted at most two years after they were sent.
- Server logs, which may contain your player's identifier, and database backups until they expire, at most 30 days.
- Data the law requires us to keep, only as long as it requires.
Removing the app from a device does not by itself delete the account.
